Civil and Environmental Engineering Graduate Students’ Association
Who We Are
CEEGSA is an organization run for the students, by the students. We hope to create a space for graduate students in the University of Alberta's CEE Department to make a difference and give back to our community.
CEEGSA represents graduate students from the eight key research groups within the University of Alberta's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department: Construction, Environmental, Geotechnical, Mining, Petroleum, Structural, Transportation, and Water Resources.
The University of Alberta, its buildings, labs, and research stations are primarily located on the traditional territory of Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, and Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe nations; lands that are now known as part of Treaties 6, 7, and 8 and homeland of the Métis. The University of Alberta respects the sovereignty, lands, histories, languages, knowledge systems, and cultures of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit nations.
